Admissions Department

The INSTITUTO UNIVERSITARIO ESCUELA ARGENTINA DE NEGOCIOS according to the current regulations established by the Ministry of Technology and Science Education of the Argentine Republic, is empowered to enroll foreign students.

If you're thinking about coming to Argentina to study you should know you must meet a few admission requirements:

Immigration Requirements for International Students

Countries under a tourist visa waiver agreement with Argentina

International students from these countries are eligible for enrolment without a student visa. Within 30 days after they have arrived in Argentina, those who have entered the country as tourists could obtain a temporary residence permit by submitting the following documents.

  • Valid passport.
  • Identity card.
  • Birth certificate duly authenticated by the Argentine Consulate in the student’s country of origin.
  • Clear Criminal Record Certificate issued by the Argentine Federal Police Department or by the Criminal Record Bureau (Registro Nacional de Reincidencia ) which is part of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights.

Should students stay in Argentina for more than six months, they are to submit a clear criminal record certificate from their country of origin or from each country/city the applicants have resided in over the last 3 years. Such certificate must be duly authenticated by the corresponding Argentine Consulate abroad, or with an Apostille.

Health Insurance

Students participating in all International Programmes must have health insurance in the country of origin. Such insurance should provide for emergency care, primary care, hospitalisation and emergency evacuation and repatriation during the programmes.

International students who are citizens from countries which do not participate in the visa waiver agreement with Argentina must contact the closest Argentine Consulate and they will need the following documentation:

  • A Student Visa (unless the country of origin have tourist visa waiver agreement with Argentina)
  • Copy of your DNI (National Document of Identification).
  • High School Diploma issued in your country of origin and approved.
