COURSE OBJECTIVES:

Students should

  • Develop analytic skills of international business generation.
  • Understand the political socioeconomic contexts of the main countries and economic blocks of the region.
  • Get acquainted with the managerial practices and trade instruments to successfully do business in Latin America

PROGRAM STRUCTURE:

INTRODUCTION

Understanding Latin-America

CLASS 1:

  • How to generate a strategy of international marketing towards Latin-American markets. Key to success.

CLASS 2:

  • Controllable and non controllable variables for approaching Latin-American markets.

CLASS 3:

  • Selling successfully to the MERCOSUR countries.

CLASS 4:

  • How to promote products and sell to Chile.

CLASS 5:

  • How to promote products and sell to Andean countries.

CLASS 6:

  • How to promote products and sell to central american countries.

CLASS 7:

  • How to promote products and sell to caribbean countries.

CLASS 8:

  • Common marketing techniques for the Latin-American Market. Conclusions.

CLASS 9:

  • Discussion.
